Space Rangers HD: A War Apart updates and expands the world of the cult classic Space Rangers 2. The game was developed by the SNK-Games team in close cooperation with the fans of the series. The biggest of the improved features is a new scenario centered around pirates threatening the galaxy.

While the Coalition spends all its resources on fighting the Dominators (sentient machines seeking to destroy all life), the pirates have united under the banner of a mysterious leader. Under the leadership of this new master, they launched their own guerrilla war to seize power in a weakened galaxy.

Now players can choose who to deal with: Dominators or Pirates, or both at the same time. If you choose the last path, you will get a new story and side quests, new objectives and promotions.

After winning one of the wars, you can either end the game or continue the game to win the other. Players will begin their pirate career as the lowest of the low, and work their way to the top of the pirate hierarchy by completing story missions and learning new information about the organization and its unknown leader, whose actions threaten the very existence of the Coalition of Sentient Species.

All the player’s actions affect where the galaxy ends up in the end, with the Coalition winning and managing to defeat its enemies, or with the alliance disintegrating due to both external pressure from the Dominators and internal pirate pressure. The game has undergone major technical changes in addition to the addition of new content.

All main menus, loading screens, planet and space station views have been redesigned. You can now select screen resolutions up to 1920×1200, and planetary battles use state-of-the-art rendering technologies.

1. New pirate story. After completing any of the story branches, the player can either end the game or continue the game to complete the other branch. The player’s actions affect the entire galaxy, and the balance in any of the wars can be disturbed not only by the player, but also by the actions of the AI. No two walkthroughs will be the same.

4. Other improvements include over 10 new text adventures, over 15 planetary battle maps, over 20 government missions, unique non-story events, new equipment and micromodules, access to all hyperspace battles from the main menu, and much more!
